THE REPUBLIC DAY GALA WAS HELD AT THE JASTECH SCHOOL PARK ON FRIDAY 4TH JULY, 2025 JACOBU.

On Friday 4th July, 2025 around 6:30am, the Organizers of the Republic Day Gala ensured that Jacobu Senior High School Park and its surrounding was fully set to receive football participants, supporters and visitor’s. The National Service Executives in collaboration with the National Service Authority Director Mr Douglas Osei Mensah were the organizers of the Republic Day Gala. Some participating teams like the District Assembly, St. Peter’s, Teacher’s Union, National Service Personnel Association (NASPA), Ghana Police Service went early to the field fully prepared.

‘The Catch Them Young Referee’s’ for the Gala were Augustine (Center Referee), Ernest (Ass. Line 1 Referee) and Emmanuel (Ass. Line 2 Referee). The Sponsors of the Republic Day Gala includes Jastech, Dangote Sounds, Philjoy Drinking Water, District Chief Imam etc, and the Republic Day Gala Trophy was sponsored by NASPA.

THE GHANA POLICE SERVICE AND DISTRICT ASSEMBLY TEAM

The first game delayed because it rained in the morning but at exactly 10:00am the match began live and colored. Even though it was a holiday and it also rained but about 50 National Service Personnel’s were present to cheer and support the game. The football matches followed the grouping and fixtures below;

In conclusion, based on the scores above, the Ghana Police Service team emerged as winners. The game closed around 6:30pm and the Trophy was presented to the winning team by NSA Director.
