The District Planning Committee held a meeting on the 27th June, 2025 at the Planning Office.
Agenda
- Discussion of 2026-2029 Medium Term Development Plan
- Discussion of 2026-2029 Medium Term Development Plan revised guidelines

Decisions Taken
- All departments and decentralized agencies were tasked to submit their performance reviews and sector input for the 2022–2025 plan by August ending.
- The Planning Unit was mandated to prepare and circulate a data collection schedule for needs assessment in all Electoral areas.
- DPCU members were urged to familiarize themselves with the revised guidelines (copies shared electronically).
- A technical sub-committee was formed to coordinate plan preparation activities, chaired by the Agric Director and facilitated by the Planning Unit.
- The Planning Unit should liaise with the Information Services Department and NADMO to conduct orientation sessions in selected zones.
