On Monday 7th July, 2025, the Justice and Security Sub-committee met to deliberate on Security issues in the District. After thorough discussion, the following recommendations were made.

1. The Assembly should organise a joint operation to rid the entire District of the menace of “weed” smoking, narcotics use and excessive guns.

2. The Assembly should complete all Police Stations in the district.

3. The Assembly should request for more police personnel to provide security in the district.

4. The Assembly should organise an operation to put a stop to the illegal business activities of Sky Pub at Atobiase such as sale of narcotics.
