The Ashanti ISD Regional Director today 14th of August 2025 paid a courtesy visit to the District Chief Executive of Amansie Central District Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Obeng Agyemang and the ISD office at Amansie Central, Jacobu. It was an excited moment when the DCE highlighted the expectations of the government from the ISD and the District office as a whole. He praised the office for the efforts so far in government communication and his expectations among other things. The Regional Director, Nana Yaw Akrasi- Sarpong in turn elaborated on the Department’s achievement so far, new communication strategies underway to establish itself as the source of authentic government information, the uses of  the various social media platforms for government communication in modern days and so forth. He appealed to the Hon. DCE to assist ISD Amansie Central District in it’s publicity activities to ensure that government and the Amansie Central District Assembly activities get to the grassroots.

The Regional Director met with ISD staff briefly after his fruitful discussions with the DCE.
