COMMISSIONING AND HANDING OVER OF FAHIAKOBO CHPS COMPOUND

As part of our commitment to bringing quality healthcare services closer to the people of Amansie Central District, a commissioning and handing-over ceremony was held on Monday, 25th May 2026, for a newly completed and fully furnished Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound at Fahiakobo.

The project, which commenced on 17th November 2025, includes a fully equipped CHPS compound, a nurses’ quarters, and a mechanized borehole to ensure a reliable water supply for both healthcare delivery and the surrounding community.

This milestone reflects the government’s unwavering belief that access to quality healthcare should not be determined by where one lives. The commissioning of this facility underscores the dedication to improving maternal and child health services, strengthening preventive healthcare, and enhancing emergency response at the community level. It is a significant step towards ensuring equitable and accessible healthcare for all residents of the district.
