SOD CUTTING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A KG BLOCK AND CHPS COMPOUND
A sod-cutting ceremony was held at Donkoase on Tuesday, 20th January, to mark the commencement of works for the completion of a CHPS compound—a legacy project the District Assembly is committed to delivering. As part of the project, a nurses’ quarters has been added, and the contractor has been directed to complete and hand over the facility within six months.
Following this, the District Chief Executive (DCE) and his team proceeded to cut sod for the construction of a two-unit kindergarten block with a five-seater water closet toilet facility and mechanized borehole at Domeabra. The project was formally handed over to a contractor, with a completion timeline of three to six months.
As part of the ceremony, the DCE engaged Assembly Members, traditional authorities, and community elders, urging them to support the monitoring of the projects to ensure timely completion and delivery for the benefit of the community.
