On the 30th of September, 2021, that was when the New District Chief Executive, Hon Michael Donkor (DCE) being elected by the President, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo was confirmed by the people of Amansie Central District.

The occasion was graced by dignitaries like Bekwai Chief, MP of Odortobri, Rep. Of Ashanti Regional Minister, District Coordinating Directors as well as other DCEs from all nearby districts both former and current ones.
