The day was launched on the 10th of June, 2022 at the premises of the District Assembly by Hon. DCE (Michael Donkor), DCD Agric Director, Forestry Commission and all heads of department of the Assembly. The inauguration followed by a float through Jacobu Township with all pupils from school in Jacobu and we ended to Jacobu Saint Peter’s Hospital where the DCE and Nananom and other officials planted trees to mark the occasion. The distribution of seedlings continued and table shows above. The occasion which was graced by all stakeholders and was colourful and remarkable.
