THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF ACDA HELD A MEETING ON TUESDAY 24TH OCTOBER, 2023 AT ASSEMBLY’S CONFERENCE HALL.

The Executive Committee of the Amansie Central District Assembly held its meeting on Tuesday, 24th October, 2023 at the District Assembly’s Hall. The meeting was held to consider sub-committee’s report or the recommendations made by the Sub-committees at their meetings of which the discussions were as follows:

  1. The Assembly should write to the Office of the Middle Belt Development Authority to enquire about the update and status of the projects and the abandonment of “One million one constituency” projects.
  2. The condition of teachers’ bungalows in the district.
  3. Provision of five thousand hexagonal desks for KG pupils in the district.
  4. The major stakeholders like traditional authorities should be made to address the issue of parental irresponsibility in the district.
  5. Education should be given to parents and traditional authorities on the alarming increase in teenage pregnancies in the district.
  6. That the old court building should be converted Health Centre to make young ladies access family planning healthcare in the district.

The recommendations accepted at the Executive Committee will be sent to the General Assembly meeting for further consideration and adoption for actions to be carried out. The convenors and secretaries of each subcommittee meetings as well as other heads of department and staff of the Assembly were present.
