THE AMANSIE CENTRAL DISTRICT ASSEMBLY OBSERVED THE NATIONAL PRAYER AND THANKGIVING SERVICE ON THE 1ST JULY, 2025 AT NANA ADU DARKO COMMUNITY CENTER.

Ghana’s National Prayer and Thanksgiving Service was observed on July 1, 2025, across all 16 regions and 261 districts. The event was instituted by President John Dramani Mahama as a day for spiritual reflection, national gratitude, and renewed unity.

Theme

This year’s theme was “Reflect, Reset, and Renewal for National Prosperity,” focusing on introspection, national development, and collective pursuit of peace and progress.

Events

Amansie Central District Assembly organized a grand interdenominational Christian  service and a Muslim Service together at the Nana Adu Darko Community Centre.

Attendance

The event was attended by the Christian religious leaders, the chief imam of the district, the Hon District Chief Executive, Hon. Assembly members, the District Coordinating Director, Heads of department, staff of the Amansie Central District and some members of the community.

Objectives

To encourage citizens to assess their personal and collective journeys and renew their commitment to national development.

To express gratitude for national blessings and seek divine guidance for the future.

To promote unity and solidarity among Ghanaians, transcending religious and ethnic differences.

The event was successful as it reinforced unity among all
